DOME OF THE ROCK JERUSALEM

This project involved the restoration of the Dome. Removal of the aluminium outer dome and the replacement of 1,500m² of brass sheets laid on new timber boarding fixed to the existing aluminium structure together with the restoration of the Ambulatory Roof.

Muir Associates were responsible for the design of the temporary support structures under significant physical constraints to facilitate the restoration works take place.
